I think this will end up being a good thing for the whole theater in the end.
If this troupe can become what they all had the potential to be, before the clique moved
in and started throwing poo balls, it would be lovely. I've mourned the fact for a long
time that there hasn't been a board dedicated to the intelligent and friendly discussion
of the high art of acting. Not part begging, not sniping and infighting, not bouncing
rapier wit off unsuspecting newbies...just honest helpful discussion. I think
Dennis was going for the same thing at the cinema, but his commercial goals may be off-putting for some.
He has the right plan...stay above the poo balls troupe and keep the focus on acting. (Now that I'm thinking of it....
the two halls really could compliment each other...his more on the business/teaching end,
and this one on the art/performance end.)
