I started writing music when I was a child and then in my teens, it became clear to me that this
was something I wanted to go on doing - it was compulsive. I had been playing the
piano since I was 7, and by the time I was 18 I was playing profesionally. But it had always
been inmy mind that I wasn't headed for a straight, classical playing career because
almost from the start, I had been excited by all types of music for films r stayedin New York
and written musicals, pop or advertising jingles. None of these seemed right for me. I discovered
that all those years of preparation, of working in the different areas of music and
building up my repertoire, were actually paying off teens jingles piano.
